The world has witnessed different kinds of war, famine, economic hardship, etc. Contemporary histories are also dotted with various unpleasant experiences at one time or another. In most cases, according to the Holy Bible, these unpleasant experiences are caused by humans’ deviation from the path of God. The case of the children of Israel in the Bible says it all. Whenever human beings want to prove to be wiser than God and try to go their way, it always ends in disaster and calamities.
