The bible says we are transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2). Christians must focus on God at all times and in all situations to build confidence and overcome fear and anxiety, which can result in depression. We must avoid running ourselves into the ground and should not forsake the gathering of believers of like-minded faith (Heb. 10:25). This helps prevent loneliness, which can lead to depression. We should also stay active in God’s work, for as it is often said, an idle mind is the devil’s workshop.
