Determined to break any known barrier that makes the Bible inaccessible to people, The Bible Society of
Nigeria (BSN) has made some of its Bibles in Nigerian Languages available on a Bible app. The Bible app,
which is YouVersion, is available on Play Store for Android phones and Apple Store for iPhones. So far,
the Bible is available for download from this app in 17 Nigerian Languages. The download is free.
Whether you’re using an Android or iPhone device, head over to your respectve app store – the Play
Store for Android or the Apple Store for iPhones.
In the app store’s search bar, type “YouVersion Bible” and look for the ofcial YouVersion Bible app.
Tap on the “Install” or “Get” buton to download the YouVersion Bible app. Once the download is
complete, follow the on-screen prompts to install it on your device.
Locate the YouVersion Bible app on your device and tap on its icon to open it.
As a frst-tme user, you’ll need to create a free account on the YouVersion Bible app. Look for the
registraton opton within the app and provide the necessary informaton to set up your account. Don’t
worry; it’s a quick and easy process!
Once you’re registered and logged in, it’s tme to explore the vast library of Bible versions. To fnd our
specially curated Nigerian language Bibles, navigate to the app’s “Bible Versions” or “Translatons”
secton.
Within the Bible Versions secton, search for your specifc Nigerian language by either typing it in the
search bar or scrolling through the available optons. We offer a range of Nigerian languages, including
Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Efk, and many more!
