Our You Can Identify With

The Bible Society of Nigeria has the mandate to meet the scriptural need of every Nigerian and also help people interact with the Word of God. In order to fulfill the latter part of this mandate, certain projects are being carried out by the society. Prominent amongst these projects are: You can be their eyes, HIV/AIDS Pandemic: Conduct, Not Condom, The Bible In Nigerian Sign Language: A More Relevant And Impactful Reach-Out To Deaf, Sacrificing The Family Lunch, National NYSC Essay Writing Competition / Symposium, Primary School Bible Competition, Secondary School Bible Competition, Prison Project, etc.

The Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN) believes the Bible is for all Nigerians. Traditionally, the work of the BSN is to make the Bible available and affordable. The Society has come to see that provision of the printed text, however well-presented, is only a part of the task. To achieve the most effective and meaningful distribution, the BSN also recognizes the need to develop programmes, using all forms of media to stimulate and facilitate encounter with the biblical text in Churches and public places.
