The Macedonian Call: Bringing Hope to the Displaced and Transforming Lives
In response to the rising wave of insecurity that has plagued various communities across the country, leaving many displaced and in desperate need of safety and sustenance, The Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN) has once again demonstrated its commitment to holistic ministry through The Macedonian Call. This initiative, one of the BSN’s major Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects, was carried out to provide socio-spiritual, emotional, and material support to internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Benue State.

A Cry for Help Amidst Crisis

Many affected families now seek refuge in schools, makeshift camps, and any available safe spaces. In this dire situation, the cry for relief and restoration resounds across the nation, echoing the biblical Macedonian Call – “Come over and help us” (Acts 16:9).

This intervention aligns with BSN’s mandate to not only transform lives spiritually through the provision of God’s Word but also to complement the efforts of the government and other organisations by offering tangible relief to those in distress.
