Ipakodo Senior Secondary School wins deaf Bible quiz

Ipakodo Senior Secondary School, Ikorodu, Lagos has won the third edition of the Bible quiz organised by The Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN) for the people with hearing challenges in Lagos. The school won the competition with a total of 60 points.
Ipakodo students, who also took the first position at the second edition of the competition in 2021, answered all their questions correctly to beat seven other schools.

Interestingly, Hope Fountain Schools, Ijaiye-Ojokoro, scored 48 points to clinch the second position, which it also took during the 2021 edition of the quiz, while Federal Science and Technical College, Yaba took the third position with 47 points.

Other schools that participated in the competition were Ikeja Junior High School; Ipakodo
Junior Secondary School; Ikeja Senior High School; State Senior Grammar School, Surulere, and Sango Junior High School, Agege.
Speaking at the occasion, the General Secretary/CEO of the BSN, Pastor Samuel Sanusi, who was represented by the Assistant General Secretary, Finance, Mrs. Yemisi Oluwagbemi, said that the competition was one of the programmes The Society organises to help people engage with the word of God in pursuit of transformation of lives. Pastor Sanusi called on the Church and Christian organisations to join the BSN to sponsor the quiz to make it more rewarding while transforming lives for God.
