Samuel Adesola Sanusi is the 9th indigenous General Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of The Bible Society of Nigeria, a position he assumed on July 1, 2021. He joined The Bible Society of Nigeria in December 2010 as Church and Public Relations Manager. He later got promoted to the position of Senior Manager Operations and Programmes and later as Senior Manager Church and Public Relations.

He started his career as an Insurance Agent with The African Alliance Insurance Company PLC in the year 1998. This was after he has taught in private schools for over five years. He has over ten years’ experience in the capital market segment of the Nigerian financial industry having worked with Cashcraft Asset Management Limited and later delved into private business still in the capital market before joining The Bible Society of Nigeria in December of 2010.

Samuel Sanusi is a multi-disciplinary professional. He has his first degree in Mass Communication from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State. He is a professional Public Relations Practitioner and a member of several professional bodies such as Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), Institute of Capital Market Registrar, Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria, Institute of Corporate Affairs Management, etc. and holds an MBA in Advertising and Public Relations from the prestigious ESUT Business School, Enugu, Nigeria.

Samuel Sanusi is a member of the All-Africa Bible Societies CEOs Affinity Group and Chairman of the group Constitution Review Committee. He currently serves as the Chairman, West African CEOs Affinity Group of National Bible Societies.

He is an author and sought out conference speaker both locally and internationally.

He is happily married, and the marriage is blessed with God honouring children.
