Yemi Olayiwola

Yemi Olayiwola is a seasoned corporate executive, administrator, corporate governance practitioner, and human capital development strategist with nearly three decades of progressive leadership experience across corporate management, human resource management, supply chain and operations management, customer service, organizational development, business strategy and research, marketing, and institutional transformation.
He currently serves as Assistant General Secretary, Corporate Development at The Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN), where he provides strategic leadership for corporate development and oversees critical organizational functions, including Human Resource Management, Supply Chain Management, Organizational Effectiveness, Performance Management, Corporate Services, and Institutional Growth Initiatives. In this role, he champions the development of ethical, value-driven, and governance-compliant systems that strengthen organizational performance, accountability, sustainability, and long-term institutional sustainability.
Yemi also provides executive oversight to the Bible Guesthouse Research & Development Centre, a subsidiary of The Bible Society of Nigeria, as an Executive Director (Director of Operations) where he supports operational leadership, institutional development, service excellence, and strategic growth initiatives. In addition, he serves as Chairman of BSN Consult, the Society’s learning and development platform established to build future-ready leaders, strengthen staff capacity, and develop a sustainable leadership pipeline equipped with marketplace relevant competencies for increasingly complex organizational environments.
His professional expertise cuts across Human Resource Management, Leadership Development, Corporate Governance, Organizational Behaviour, Strategic Planning, Change Management, Operations Management, Talent Development, Supply Chain Management, Performance Management, and Institutional Capacity Building.
Prior to joining The BSN, Yemi garnered extensive private and public sector experience between 2000 and 2011. His previous roles include Account/Marketing Executive at Progress Seafoods Nigeria Ltd.; Administrative Executive at the Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta; and Administrative Executive and subsequent Head of Internal Revenue for the Abeokuta South Local Government under the Ogun State Local Government Service Commission. He also spent several years within the Odu’a Investment ecosystem at Odu’a Telecommunications (O’NET) Ltd., serving as Marketing Executive, Customer Service Executive, and Regional Head of Customer Service (Ogun Region) before transferring to the national headquarters in Ibadan in 2009.
Academically, Yemi holds a Master in Managerial Psychology and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with specialization in Marketing. He is also an alumnus of the Lagos Business School, where he further strengthened his executive leadership, governance, and strategic management capabilities.
Over the years in his career, Yemi has distinguished himself as an organisation culture management gate keeper, balance score card initiative driver, and a leader committed to building high-performing organisation, ethically grounded, and values-centered organizations. His professional approach integrates sound corporate governance principles, strategic leadership, people development, operational discipline, and institutional stewardship to create sustainable impact and organizational credibility.
