One of the highlights at the 15th Founder’s Day Annual Lecture and Awards Ceremony of The Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN) was the presentation of awards to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to the betterment of society. Reverend Mother Esther Ajayi, Founder of Love of Christ Generation Church, regarded as one of Nigeria’s most generous philanthropists, received recognition for her selfless service to God and outstanding contributions to humanity. Her unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on society has earned her respect and admiration both locally and internationally.

While receiving her award, Reverend Mother Ajayi expressed her profound appreciation to the BSN and highlighted the pivotal role The Society plays in the spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ. She asserted that the organisation holds a unique and indispensable position in sustaining the essence of Christianity. She said that without the dedicated efforts of the BSN, the availability and dissemination of the Bible could be compromised, impacting the core tenets of the Christian faith. She urged that individuals associated with the BSN should be treated with special consideration and honour for the roles they play in ensuring the accessibility and distribution of the Bible.

Speaking further, Reverend Mother Esther Ajayi stressed the significance of the Bible as the bedrock of Christianity. According to her, Christianity, as a faith, finds its foundation in the teachings and principles embedded in the Bible. Without the sacred scriptures, she noted, there would be no Christianity.
