It was held across 150 churches in 22 states and 349 reading centres and the event resonated deeply with its theme, &#8220;Believe and be Saved&#8221; (Acts 16:31), and ran daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. between Monday, August 26, and Friday, August 30, 2024.\n\n<b>A Grand Opening<\/b>\n\nThe week began with an inspiring opening ceremony on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Christ Anglican Church, Elere-Agege, Lagos. Leaders and participants were encouraged to turn to God for guidance and to make Bible reading an essential part of their daily lives. The atmosphere was electric with hope and faith as speakers urged leaders to lead with the fear of God and courage. The ceremony set the tone for what was to be a spiritually uplifting week.\n\n<b>A Nationwide Movement<\/b>\n\nFrom bustling cities to serene rural communities, the MBR initiative sparked a wave of Bible engagement, spiritual growth, and Christian unity. With the objective of encouraging participants to read the Bible passionately, it was a powerful testimony of faith that spanned the nation. From children as young as 5 to elderly participants of 83, readers approached their turn at the reading desk with vigour and enthusiasm, each page-turning representing a step closer to God.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-a80bc6a\" data-id=\"a80bc6a\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-feda152 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"feda152\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<b>Transformative Experiences<\/b>\n<br \/>\nAs the scriptures were read aloud in churches and reading centres, the Word of God resonated deeply among participants, bringing about spiritual growth, healing, and even testimonies of personal transformation. One participant shared how the readings had reignited her passion for God, leading to a renewed commitment to prayer and the study of the Bible. Another testified about experiencing healing after reading from the Book of Psalms, highlighting the transformative power of God&#8217;s Word.\n\n<br \/><br \/>\n<b>Unity in Diversity<\/b>\n<br >\nThe MBR event beautifully illustrated Christian unity. Regardless of age, gender, or denominational differences, participants stood side by side, embracing the shared journey of reading the Bible. This unity was a powerful reminder that the Word of God transcends all boundaries, drawing people together in a common pursuit of truth and salvation.\n\n<br \/><br \/>\n<b>A Call to Continue<\/b>\n<br \/>\nAs the 2024 MBR ended, it left  an indelible mark on the hearts of those who participated. The event not only promoted Bible engagement but also fostered a deeper sense of community and spiritual renewal. The week was a testament to the power of God&#8217;s Word to change lives and draw people closer to Him.
