The Lead Pastor of The Elevation Church<\/a>, Pastor Godman Akinlabi<\/a> has said that the Bible in his mother tongue helped him a great deal to easily understand the word of God and grow spiritually.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tPastor Akinlabi made this revelation in Lagos recently while speaking as a guest speaker at the 15th Annual Luncheon and Awards of the Special Members Forum of The Bible Society of Nigeria.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe man of God said that when he was a Muslim, he was made to read the Koran which he could not understand. \u201cAt an early age, I was made to read the Koran in Arabic. I kept reading and memorizing it without understanding what I was reading. When I gave my life to Christ, I found the Bible in my mother tongue which helped me to easily understand the word of God,\u201d he said.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

It becomes easy to do that when you can get people to read the Bible in the language they understand.
