    Prayers for our nation
    Going through the pages of scriptures, one will discover that there is truly nothing new under the sun (Ecclesiastes 1:9). The world has witnessed different kinds of war, famine, economic hardship, etc. Contemporary histories are also dotted with various unpleasant experiences at one time or another. In most cases, according to the Holy Bible, these unpleasant experiences are caused by humans’ deviation from the path of God. The case of the children of Israel in the Bible says it all. Whenever human beings want to prove to be wiser than God and try to go their way, it always ends in disaster and calamities. Yet, man has failed to learn from experience, and we have kept making the same mistakes repeatedly going against the laws of God and trying to fulfil what the Bible says in Job 21:22a – “Can anyone teach knowledge to God?”…

These events manifest in various forms – political, economic, socio-cultural, pandemic, wars, natural disasters in diverse places, etc. Managing an enterprise in times like these has undoubtedly become a herculean task across all fields of human endeavour as every organisation is struggling to survive. Therefore, to achieve more and succeed, everyone must team up as it is said, “Together Everyone Achieves More”. This is a time for synergistic efforts and total reliance on God for direction.
