How BSN Drives Evangelism through its End-to-End Project

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15.
As part of efforts towards helping Nigerians engage with the Word of God, particularly Nigerians living in the hinterlands, The Bible Society of Nigeria established the End-to-End programme. The programme, which is in line with the mandate of the Lord Jesus Christ as recorded in Mark 16:15, has brought about the salvation of thousands of people in various parts of the country. The programme is being executed in collaboration with missionary agencies.
The End-to-End programme usually begins with the showing of Jesus Film or amplification of pre-recorded audio tapes in a targeted group to expose them to the gospel of Jesus Christ in their language. After the airing of the film, Christian study materials and Bibles are distributed among the converts as follow-up tools. The converts are thereafter established among special listening groups. In each listening group, a leader is identified to coordinate the groups and make sure everyone attends the meetings. If there are questions or clarifications needed, the leader will proffer answers. Partners in this project ensure that special training is conducted for these leaders, so that as the listening groups continue and grow, a church will be planted, and these leaders will become the pillars of the church. This system invariably grows the Church, as the converts are eventually encouraged to join a local church.
Thousands of people have benefitted from the End-to-End programme since its inception, resulting in the salvation of souls and diverse miracles. The programme has been held in various parts of the country, including Plateau, Enugu, Warri, Ogbomoso, Ibadan, Benue, Nasarawa, Kwara, and Taraba, among others. In conjunction with its international partners and local sponsors, The Bible Society of Nigeria has invested heavily in the training of leaders, as well as mobilisation and procurement of requisite materials needed for these outreaches.
