BSN Projects:
This is a call for you to identify with any of these life changing projects aimed at helping people interact with the Word of God. Find below projects you can actually identify with by donating:

• You Can Make God Speak A Language - Communicating with people in their mother tongues has its uniqueness. When people hear God speaking to them in their native language, it reveals the love of God in a more unique way. The Bible Society of Nigeria is saddled with the responsibility of making God speak to people in their mother tongues. We have about 505 languages in Nigeria. We have succeeded in translating the Bible into 18 Nigerian Languages, 60 New Testaments and one book of the Bible or another in 98 languages. 24 other languages are being translated. It costs a minimum of N30m and 12 years to finish a Bible Translation project.

• Sacrificing The Family Lunch Once A Month For The Soul Of Others - It is difficult to understand how it feels like to be blind when one can see. One may not appreciate what it means to be hungry if he can pay the price of his meals. There are people who cannot afford a meal a day not to talk of paying for a copy of the Bible. This project is therefore targeted at the less privileged (visually impaired, street urchins, aged ones, rehabilitation homes, etc.). The conservative cost of a family lunch of six at a fast food restaurant will be N4,200.00 at a sitting multiplied by 12 months gives N50,400.00 for four years will be N201,600.00. You cannot measure the joy and blessing you will impart to the lives of those that will benefit from this Project. Ahmed, a blind Muslim boy benefited from our free Braille Bible and said, ...”I have always been touched by Christian love. A Christian family enrolled me in school. Now The Bible Society of Nigeria gave me the Word of God”. Though I was born blind, now I can see. I can see God’s love in Christ Jesus. I accept Him and when he comes, I shall be like Him”

• HIV/AIDS Pandemic: Conduct Not Condom - That HIV/AIDS is an incurable disease and one of the greatest health challenges of our time that affects our economy and national productivity is no news. About 36.1 million people in the world are HIV positive, out of which 25.7 million are from Africa. Nigeria has been rated to have the third highest number of people living with HIV/AIDS in the world after India and South Africa.
We want to encourage the idea of going back to the original African moral chastity, preservation of virginity until marriage. In view of these facts, we have decided to attack the disease through moral persuasion. The conduct of people should be addressed and not giving cosmetic solution of condom. We plan to translate 3 educative and communicative Video Tapes on HIV/AIDS titled – (Where is the Good Samaritan Today? Who is Responsible? And No more Tears) into 7 Nigerian Languages, produce and broadcast, through local television stations. Furthermore, three Pamphlets on HIV/AIDS titled (Where is the Good Samaritan Today? Take Charge and Who is Responsible would be translated into Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo, produced and distributed free of charge.

• Reaching The unreached - This project is targeted at the rural dwellers who either have no access to encountering the Word of God or cannot even afford the luxury of owning one to themselves. To this end, The Bible Society reach out to them with the Scriptures in audio cassettes and Cassette Player for them to interact with the Word of God in their local dialect. It is a capital intensive project.
