THE CAP DIVISION
CAP means Computer Assisted Publishing. It involves everything that takes place from translation to the point of production. From the inception of a translation project, CAP is involved in training translators on how to use Paratext, the official translation text in-putting, editing and processing software used by the United Bible Societies. CAP supports translators in keeping with the UBS formatting standards in terms of text coding and mark-ups. CAP eventually handles the final checking of translated text and typesetting of same before it finally goes for production.
